- Open your page or post in the WordPress editor and add a Custom HTML block.
- Paste the code, save, and preview the published page. Press Play to check the stream.
Your site must allow iframe code. WordPress.com requires an eligible plan with hosting features activated; see its Custom HTML guidance. If your editor removes the snippet, use the direct player link.
On another website
Paste the snippet into an HTML or embed block where you want the player. It fills the available width, so it can sit inside your station homepage, a sidebar, or a show page.
If your website builder only accepts a link, use the direct player URL. If it has a security policy, allow frames from streaming.nobexpartners.com.

Use a listener URL that plays audio directly. Your station homepage and encoder connection details are different. Keep private passwords and expiring access links out of a public player.
A few useful answers
Is this radio player really free?
Yes. Creating, sharing, and embedding the player is free and requires no Nobex account. The player includes a small Player by Nobex link. You supply the audio stream; your stream host still handles the connection, listener capacity, and bandwidth.
Will it work with SHOUTcast or Icecast?
It works with browser-playable HTTPS audio streams, including compatible MP3 and AAC listener URLs from SHOUTcast and Icecast. Use your direct listening URL, not your station homepage, server dashboard, or encoder login. The host must allow playback from another website. Audio format support can vary by browser.
Where do I find my radio stream URL?
Look in your streaming host’s dashboard for a direct stream or listener URL. It usually points to an audio mount or listening endpoint. A website address that opens a page with a player is usually not the stream itself. Ask your host for a public HTTPS listening URL if you are unsure.
Can I add the player to WordPress without a plugin?
On a WordPress site that permits iframe embeds, add a Custom HTML block, paste the generated code, and preview the published page. A dedicated radio plugin is not required. Some WordPress.com plans and restricted user roles remove iframe code; if that happens, use a plan or role that allows custom embeds, or add the direct player link instead.
Why does my stream need HTTPS?
The player is served over HTTPS. Browsers can block insecure HTTP audio inside secure pages. An iframe does not fix this. Get an HTTPS stream URL from your host; this free tool does not proxy or convert insecure streams.
Will the player start automatically?
You can request autoplay, but browsers often require the listener to press Play before allowing sound. This is especially common on phones and in embedded players. The play button remains available when autoplay is blocked.
Can I change the player after embedding it?
Yes. The player’s stream URL, station name, color, and settings are stored in its URL parameters. Change the settings in this generator, then replace the old embed code or direct link on your website. There is no account or saved player record to update.
Does the player host my station or increase my listener limit?
